One Week In...

Well, its been a week and things are going good so far at the new job. I think I am going to like it there and am bound and determined to be successfull there also. I have good competition in the office if I want to be one of the best. I managed to get there in insurance and I am sure I can get there in document management sales. That is a fancy term for selling copiers/faxes/scanners/all in one multifunction devices/proprietary equipment and the software to sync up the office document management system. Sounds like a lot, but its pretty simple...I go out in my area and see businesses that may or may not have accounts with us or may or may not have our equipment in their offices. If they dont, then I try to solve that and get them to have our equipment in their offices. Oce is an international company based out of the Netherlands in Venlo. That is their manufacturing center. These are high end machines and are pretty cool! Im excited and I think that I will have a sale this coming up week or the next one - they dont even expect me to make a sale at all the first month. How cool would that be? Well, til then...Im gonna enjoy the three day weekend with my wonderful wife :)
